Vans sets a new standard for classic Vans shoes by re-polishing shoe silhouettes, tailoring details and wearing experience, combining upgraded designs, modern aesthetics and comfortable materials, and launches the Vans Premium classic series. The shoes in this series are equipped with Sola Foam bio-based foam anti-fatigue insoles, which keeps the classic shoes unchanged while improving the durability of comfort, and extracts iconic design elements from Vans’ history. The result of years of research and development, the Sola Foam high-resilience polyurethane foam insole contains 30% plant-based bio-based ingredients, providing superior comfort and durability. In addition, the shoe has also undergone a series of improvements, using higher-quality fabrics and contemporary shoemaking techniques. The Vans Premium Classic Collection revisits classic details from ’90s designs with the Sk8-Mid Reissue 83 and Old Skool. The Sk8-Mid Reissue 83 shoe model restores the retro toe stitching, single row of upper sponge and slimmer streamlined side stripes of the Sk8-Mid shoe model, while adding higher and glossier sole wrapping. The Premium Old Skool shoe model evolved from the Style 36 shoe model, retaining the classic design details, and is equipped with a higher and glossier outsole edge, and has a unique cotton thread reinforcement material from the 1990s.
