The new 1906R launched by COMME des GARÇONS HOMME in collaboration with New Balance is now on sale. The sneaker first appeared in the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Fall/Winter 2023 show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week in January this year, based on the high-performance running shoe 1906 – named after New Balance’s founding year. As a re-engraved version of 1906, this shoe, like the 2002R re-engraved in 2020, has been updated with high-specification soles with high shock absorption and high repulsion. In this cooperation, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME has updated the material, color matching and details of 1906R. The upper is made of leather and mesh, with reflective decoration on the heel. In addition, the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME logo is printed on the tongue and both brands are emblazoned on the insole.
