The improvement of Vomero17 is relatively large. The Zoom Air cushion has been removed. The midsole uses a combination of ZoomX and Cushlon 3.0 mixed foam. ZoomX is located on the upper layer and Cushlon 3.0 is located on the lower layer. ZoomX provides softness and Cushlon 3.0 provides cushioning and stability. The Vomero17 is powerful, soft enough for easy running, and strong enough for fast running. It’s a little on the heavy side for racing, but it provides enough cushioning to run a full marathon. The Vomero17 midsole is 39MM thick. Nike uses heightened side walls to increase the stability of the shoe. At the same time, strong Cushlon 3.0 foam is located in the lower layer to provide stability.
